The
plasma source:
HiFocus 160 i
from Kjellberg
With the HiFocus
160i the user gets a unit, which ensures a steady cutting
process even under unfavourable conditions. Foil-coated or
soiled material surfaces, conclusions in the metal, air gaps as
well as mild steel with enhanced content of silicon or sulphur
do not influence the cutting operation. The exceptional
quality on the cutting surfaces which you can compare with the
quality of the cut to a laser.
Together with the gas
mixture flow control the plasma can be used as an excellent
marking tool. Depending on the kind of marking operation,
there is often no change of consumable parts required.

The plasma machine
torch PerCut 170:
A big influence to
the costs of manufacturing has the life of the working part from
the plasma torch. We specially use the XL-Life-Time-System for
cutting with oxygenic gas. The cathode consists of a thermic
high capable hafnium pin which is embedded in a special alloy
and is directly cooled with water.
The nozzle whose
channel is produced in a high technical process is also directly
cooled with water so that you have a high effective take away of
the warmth.

Automatic gas mixtures (flow control):
Kjellberg is the
only one plasma provider which offers the possibility of the
individual adjusting of gases in pressure and flow rate.
This function ability allows the best quality of cutting
on every metals and alloys. The automatic Plasmagas-controunit
are called PGC (Plasma Gas Controller).
The PGC allows the
processing of the necessary adjustments from data banks and
guarantee a perfect reproduction of the cutting results.
Automatic height control:
CNC controlled
z-axis ensures precise height control for better cut quality and
accurate initial height for efficient hole piercing. To reach
best cutting qualities it automatically adjusts the height of
the plasma burner according to a constant distance between
burner and work piece when cutting uneven material.
Sectionised table:
The plate support
table, which is divided into a number of sections, allows an
efficient fume extraction controlled by CNC. With this
technology the complete extraction power is always used exactly
at the cutting area.
Suction for Plasma:
Effective vacuum
extraction and the efficient filter system mean that cutting
residue is always safely removed.
